La TraverSeine is a unique opportunity to cross Paris through the Seine with Canoe, Kayak, Stand Up Paddle, Pirogue or Dragon Boat. For discovery (15km) or competition (26km), alone or with a team, come visit Paris and the Hauts de Seine differently.
This event is co-organized by the Comité Départemental de Canoë-Kayak of the Hauts-de-Seine (CDCK92) and the Comité Départemental de Canoë-Kayak of Paris (CDCK75), with the support of the Comité Régional de Canoë-Kayak d’Ile-de-France (CRIFCK).
La TraverSeine is the heiress of the « Coupe Jean Olry » and of the « Traversée de Paris », organized the first time in 1947.
La TraverSeine is a weekend dedicated to canoe-kayak and all paddling sports, whose biggest moment is the Paris crossing through the Seine, this course is accessible only during this event.
For this 4th edition, 24 hours of programming under the code name of “Nuit Fleuve” (River Night), from Saturday, September 16 at noon to Sunday, September 17 at noon, will bring together 12 partner sites and structures in the four corners of the metropolis, to celebrate the waves of Ile-de-France in a thousand ways, with Olympic ambitions!
And for the first time, the Traversein amateur course will be set to music, with a touring performance by DJ Myako, from the Port de la Gare (Paris 13th) to the Sèvres nautical base!
